Phone-only free setup

You already uploaded the app. Photos, drafts and price calculations work without setup. To enable AI and real eBay publishing, do these one-time steps in Chrome on your phone. No computer or terminal.

1. Cloudflare security setup (required for eBay/AI)

On Cloudflare dashboard, create a KV namespace named snaplist-private under KV / Storage & Databases. Open your SnapList Pages project → Settings → Bindings → Add → KV namespace; variable name SELLER_STATE, select the namespace.

In the project's Settings → Variables and Secrets, add two encrypted secrets: APP_PASSWORD (a long password only you know) and SESSION_SECRET (a different random 32+ character value). Do not share these in ChatGPT or screenshots. Redeploy the project so bindings and secrets take effect. Your app will then show an Unlock screen.

2. Connect eBay seller account (required to publish)

Visit eBay Developer Program, create a Production application, configure its OAuth redirect/callback URL to your live SnapList site address followed by /api/ebay/callback, and obtain the generated RuName.

In the same Cloudflare Variables and Secrets screen add encrypted secrets EBAY_CLIENT_ID (App ID), EBAY_CLIENT_SECRET (Cert ID), and EBAY_RUNAME (the eBay-assigned RuName, not the callback URL). Redeploy, return to SnapList Settings, tap Connect my eBay account and finish signing in on eBay. eBay may require additional activation or approval.

Create your payment, shipping and return policies in eBay Seller Hub. Then return here and load them once. Standard eBay selling fees still apply.

3. Optional free photo AI

In Google AI Studio, create a free-tier Gemini API key without linking a billing-enabled project. Add it in Cloudflare Variables and Secrets as an encrypted secret named GEMINI_API_KEY. Redeploy. Check free-tier availability for your selected model. Never publish or paste the key.
